How to Change Your Password

Changing Your Password for an Account You Still Have Access To:

  1. Start by logging in to your Sermon.ly account using your current credentials.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the screen's bottom right corner and click "Settings."
  3. In the Settings menu, select the "Password" option.
  4. You will be prompted to enter your existing password in the designated field.
  5. Next, enter your new password in the "New Password" field. Ensure that your new password meets the specified requirements for security.
  6. Confirm your new password by retyping it in the "Confirm Password" field.
  7. Finally, click the "Update" button to save the changes. Your password will now be updated, providing enhanced security for your Sermon.ly account.

Changing Your Password When You Don't Have Access or Forgot Your Password:

If you are unable to access your Sermon.ly account or have forgotten your password, visit the Sermon.ly sign-in page.

  1. On the sign-in page, click on the "Forgot Password" option.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Sermon.ly account in the provided field.
  3. An email containing a password reset code will be sent to the entered email address. Check your inbox, including the spam folder, for the email.
  4. Once you receive the password reset code via email, copy the code.
  5. Return to the Sermon.ly sign-in page and enter the code in the designated "Code" field.
  6. Next, set your new password by entering it in the "New Password" field, ensuring it meets the specified requirements.
  7. Confirm your new password by retyping it in the "Confirm Password" field.
  8. Click the "Reset Password" button to finalize the process and set your new password.

Signing In to Your Account Using Single Sign-On (SSO):

Sermon.ly also offers the convenience of signing in to your account through Single Sign-On (SSO) with popular platforms like Facebook or Google.

  1. Click the SSO button on the Sermon.ly sign-in page, such as "Sign in with Facebook" or "Sign in with Google."
  2. Follow the prompts provided by the respective platform to authenticate and grant access to your Sermon.ly account. Once successfully authenticated, you will be signed in to your Sermon.ly account through SSO.
