Create and Use Snippets

Snippets are a powerful feature within Sermon.ly that can greatly enhance your sermon creation process. These bite-sized portions of content allow you to highlight and showcase impactful moments from your sermons. With the ability to easily navigate and select snippets, as well as create new ones, you have the flexibility to add compelling and attention-grabbing content to your sermons with just a few clicks.

Creating a New Snippet

  1. To create a new snippet, click on the "Snippet" link in the main menu. This will take you to the Snippet section, where you can manage all your snippets.
  2. Click on the "Add new" button to create a new snippet.
  3. Start writing or copy and paste the desired text into the snippet editor.
  4. Once you have entered the content, click save or exit the editor.

Inserting a Snippet into a Sermon

  1. Begin by opening the sermon you wish to edit in Sermon.ly.
  2. Click on the desired location within the sermon to add a snippet.
  3. Press the Forward slash (/) key on your keyboard to bring up the Snippet library.
  4. Use your mouse or keyboard arrows to navigate through the available snippets in the library.
  5. Once you find the desired snippet, press Enter to add it to your sermon.

That's it! You have successfully added a snippet to your sermon using Sermon.ly.
